Daytime Fireball over San Antonio Texas

Daylight fireballs are always a thrill. They must be a big meteoroid coming in, right? Big enought to put meteorites on the ground, we hope.

This week over San Antonio, there was a daylight fireball seen to the south. It was short, maybe 3-4 seconds which hints at a steep angle and hopefully a short strewnfield. However, there was no reported acoustical boom. That is bad, very bad.  At this point, I'm discounting the idea any material made it to the ground.
